Depaysement
2012-2014
It began fro the shock of realising the coexistence of two different subjects.
Depaysement is a surrealistic world meaning the object is sent to exile where it does not harmoniously belong.
As I proceeded with the project, I came to think that man-made materials and the natural environment do not accompany each other.
I am trying to visualise to unfamiliarity through installation of juxtaposing those two opposite characteristics.
I would like to share my idea of organic harmony through reconciliation rather than the dichotomy of “medium” and “location”.
